Clinton Moyah - Frog Lake, Alberta

I was born in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in Frog Lake by my mother and step-dad. I wanted Jesus at the tender age of eight years old, but i didn't quite understand the meaning of being a christian.

My grandmother and step-grandfather also raised me. I went to church occasionally and was learning about Jesus. I didn't understand the meaning of who God is.

When I was out of the church building I hung around with both christians and non-christians. I experienced alot of confusion about life and was led astray. At times I forgot about God. The enemy was directing my footsteps, but I didn't know it.

When I was serving the wrong god I became obsessed with this world. I was so lost. Even though I went to church, I couldn't really understand the meaning of being saved until the year of 1996.

I didn't know I was under the curse of witchcraft, and many demons, as well as satan himself took control of my soul. I was so tormented within myself that i couldnt sleep, or eat right, and I was so full of fear every day for four months. I experienced being possessed of many demons, and my head was being pulled down towards my ankles. I was spitting out blood, and hearing many demonic voices. It was so horrific to see what hell is like, and being under the power of satan.

When I came to, I believe Jesus saved my soul. Im set free by the power of God through Jesus Christ, and by His blood and authority.

After going through these things, I had to recover several days because my body was in a heavy state of comfortlessness. Even though I had really gotten saved, I was still being attacked, but still believing in Jesus. During this time I did alot of sleeping.

I moved to Vancouver , BC in 2003. I decided to fast, and to get back into the word of God. On the third day I felt the "power" of the Holy Ghost within my bones. Even though I didn't understand or comprehend this experience of "agape" love of God, this was soimmense.

On February 28, 2004 I decided to give my whole life to God through Jesus Christ. I've been rededicatted for over 2 years, and 6 months. Jesus is the Truth, Way, and Life; the only way to God. I'm set free.

I'm always willing to learn more about God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. I want to let God help me grow spiritually, to give everything of my life to God, to be used by God in His will. I'm hungry and thirsty for God. I will never get enough of God. To get to know God we learn from Jesus Christ who brings redemption and knowledge.

Marjorie Mcleod

Marjorie Mcleod - Yorkton, Saskatchewan

I was born the third of nine children, and raised on the farm. We were dirt poor, but we had everything we really needed except Jesus, until my parents were saved when I was 5.

At age 7 my camp counselor (as the sun was setting), told me the wonderful story of Jesus, and how He had left the ninety and nine safely in the fold, and went looking for that one lost sheep that had gone astray. I was that one lost sheep.

I was homesick, but afraid of home. I was dad's little shadow, As I needed someone to shelter me from my bitter mother, who professed Jesus, but took her bitterness and resentment out on me and my sisters. While dad was away from the house there were whippings, screaming, and hair-pulling, without provocation. When dad was around, then there was a showing of moms other side.

I was ill alot, and was told by doctors to leave home when I was sixteen, because of my nerves. I was writing Easter exams for grade nine while I was taking nerve pills. I quit, and then went out to work. My dad reassured me that I could always come home; but to what? Abuse? No chance to have been a child? I had an adult's rresponsibility since I was 7. Tears were "sucky" so I never cried. I would hide in the bush and longed for someone to take me away. Jesus did! He took me into his arms as His little lamb.

I married in 1969. I had led a man to the Lord, and then married him. We were blessed with 5 children. But I went through 17 and a half years of his silent abuse, closet drinking, and neglect.

I went to Shelwin House for battered women, because he was taking the gun to himself. The police took us out for our protection. The children all knew Jesus as their Saviour. Their ages were 3 1/2, 14, and 20.

Jesus, my Lord kept me all those years. He held me when families on both sides resented my decisions. I walked alone with my Lord, who saw me through some very dark times. My father died in 1993. He was my best friend. My youngest sister died of suicide in 1993. On November 8, 2003 another sister died of a heart attack suddenly, while sitting in a restaurant by her husband.

One month later my daughter Susan said  "Mom, I have to go" she took a big bottle of Tylenol and 3 boxes of Nyquil, and died in the bush. her body was in the snow for four months.

In May of this year(2006) my engagement broke up. Praise God He took me out! On August 19, 2006 my brother died of a heart attack in the night. Praise God he is in heaven! Jesus said, " My grace is sufficient for thee".

My son left for Afghanistan August 8, 2006. He said "Mom, you need to get away". God called me to Bible School where I am writing through tears of spiritual "veggies" of truth from the Word of God that are healing up my wounded, broken heart.

Jesus is the only way to truth and life. Repent therefore! Come to Jesus Who said, " I will never leave you or forsake you". What a friend I have in Jesus. Hallelujah!.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I'm a Maliseet Indian from the first nations of New Brunswick. This is my second term in Bible School at Fort Qu' Appelle.

In my past I lived a hard, cold life, but thanks to Jesus, today I live a good, full life; full of love and life. There's so much to learn about Jesus, it will take the rest of my life. Jesus is the answer to all problems.

I was an alcoholic for 40 years, and a cocaine user, but it's all over now, thanks to Jesus, the King of Kings. At times in life things are hard to live with, such as drinking, drugging, smoking, fighting with your partner, or even your children. At times you are hard to deal with.

But Jesus has the answer to all problems. Ask Jesus for help, He is always there. Ask and you shall recieve. Life is what you make it, so serve Jesus while you can.

Praise the Lamb of God! I greet you all in the wonderful name of Jesus!

I was saved at the age of 13 at the youth Bible camp near Fort Qu’Appelle in 1968.

I met my future husband Earl Keewatin, in 1969, and in 1971 my fiancé got saved. We were married February 5th, 1972. The Lord blessed us with two precious children---our daughter Michelle, and our son Earl, (junior). We served the Lord for a number of years together. Unfortunately we fell into the cares of this world.

Praise God for His mercy and forgiveness! On April 6, 1998 I made a total commitment, and surrendered everything to the Lord. My husband and I served the Lord together for 6 years. It was a time of growing together in the Lord.

In March of 2004 my husband went home to be with the Jesus. Even in a time of sorrow the Lord comforted my family and I.  He carried us through in times of trials and testing, and I love Him with all my heart

I’m in Bible School, learning more of my Savior, and it’s being an encouraging, fulfilling time in my Christian walk. It’s so totally awesome to serve the Lord! I give him all the Praise and glory. Amen!

God bless!

I greet you all in the wonderful name of Jesus! I was born in Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask. I’m a Plains Ojibway (Saulteaux) Indian.

The Lord is good! I thank Jesus for all He’s done for me, and my wife Joanne. Since we both gave our lives over to Jesus, everything is being real good for us. We have a lot of very good Christian friends.

At 14 I accepted Christ for the first time. I attended church services with my Dad, Mom, and brothers and sisters at the Indian Bible School near Fort Qu’Appelle. But as I got older I didn’t follow the Lord. I went the wrong way.

I started drinking alcohol at 18 with my brother and friends that was my downfall for many years. When I drank alcohol I always got into trouble. It got to the point where people were afraid of me. People would hide, because when I drank I was not the same person.

I spent many years in prison because of drinking. I spent 23 years in and out of jail. I was in 5 different penitentiaries across Canada.

When I finally got out of jail, I met Joanne, who became my wife. At first we went to my brother Wilfred’s house for Bible studies. That’s how we got to know our Lord Jesus. Then Joanne and myself both repented and received Jesus as our Savior. I give Jesus all the thanks the He found us. Then we both went to the Indian Bible School near Fort Qu‘Appelle. The Lord also healed me from cancer. God is good!

We like traveling around from service to service, to support our brothers and sisters. It’s nice to hear other testimonies. I believe Jesus wants us to have fellowship with others. Jesus sent His apostles 2 by 2 to preach, and heal the sick. Jesus Himself did the same.

My home church is with Brother Ron Hooper, down here at the Bible School near fort Qu’Appelle. God bless you all!
